The Situation & Current Challenges
Many of the industrial developers and tenants in Industrial Zones are facing water-related issues, and the problems continue to be an ongoing issue: Due to the impact of the climate crisis, raw water sources dwindling, and pollution from environmental problems. Costs for water supply and wastewater treatment are rising, while legal requirements are becoming stricter.
The reuse of treated wastewater is still an unknown concept in Vietnam but features a high potential for cost savings and reduced environmental footprints. Carbon credits are now at the center of attention for many industrial developers, offering interesting options and incentives for reducing CO2 footprints and even earning extra income.
The Round Table will include discussions on the challenges and propose advanced technical and organizational solutions and organizational solutions.
Becamex IDC representatives will be introducing a number of water-related projects that have been carried out in the Industrial Parks, which have played a pivotal role in supporting the water-related demands of thousands of investors.
Water:hub representatives will be introducing a number of innovative approaches to water-related problems (supported by short presentations), kicking-off discussions and contributions from participants. Exchanging experiences and challenges are at the center of the event.
