ABOUT THE EVENT

Horasis will convene its annual Horasis India Meeting in Binh Duong New City, Vietnam on 25-26 September – co-hosted by Binh Duong Province and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The meeting will invite over 300 of the most senior members of the Horasis community come together to discuss and to inspire India’s future. Delegates from India and abroad will also debate how to use Vietnam as hub for expansion into Southeast Asia – the country will play an important role in connecting India with other parts of Asia. Some of the functions will be attended by high-ranking Vietnamese and Indian politicians and other public figures. The discussants will take inspiration from India’s response to COVID management and in particular India’s learning that guides its present and its future. There is no sector of its government decision making and its business decision making that has not been revitalized and stimulated by necessity. Lessons have been learned and the delegates will discuss how rapid changes took place, which were successful, and what needs to be done in the future. The world’s economies are pressurized and global leaders facing unprecedented complexities arising from geo-politics, the uneven international distribution of COVID treatments with no cure in sight, and the turmoil of national and international economic flux. Delegates look to Indian and Vietnamese resourcefulness to raise potential solutions.
