On the morning of December 14, 2022, Conference on promoting Vietnam – India trade 2022 was held at Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC). Mr. Nguyen Van Danh – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Madam Mohan Sethi- Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City chaired a working session with representatives of 20 businesses attending the conference.

It is an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to connect with 20 Indian enterprises in many diversified areas, such as agricultural products, wood, pharmaceuticals, textiles, iron and steel, renewable energy, plastic, and packaging). As the result, it helps Vietnamese businesses expand in the international market, and have a huge contribution to the economic development of both countries.

Mr. Madam Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, highly appreciated the socio-economic achievements that Binh Duong Province has made over the past time. He believes that with the available conditions, Binh Duong is a great destination for Indian businesses to invest in and has the potential for further growth in the future. India is very interested in investment and cooperation with Vietnam in general and Binh Duong Province in particular.
