PRESS CONFERENCE VIETNAM INTERNATIONAL CULTURE & CHARACTER WEEK 2023

On the afternoon of July 19, 2023, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC Binh Duong New City) co-organized the Press Conference Vietnam International Culture & Character Week 2023. Aims to demonstrate the strategic relationship between Vietnam – Korea. Continue to implement meaningful activities and thereby promote the creative service industry in Binh Duong.

Press Conference Vietnam International Culture & Character Week 2023 with the participation of Mr. Le Van Thai – Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy Director of Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Giang Quoc Dung – Deputy General Director of Becamex IDC Corporation, Chairman of WTC Binh Duong; Mrs. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh – Director of WTC Binh Duong; Mr. Hong Jeong Yong – Director of KOCCA Vietnam; Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Hong – Director of Magiskator Joint Stock Company; Mr. Pham Cong Luan – Deputy CEO of Teky Young Technology Education Joint Stock Company and representatives of Binh Duong Province’s departments and agencies, Korean enterprises in Binh Duong province and a large number of agencies participating press agencies.

In order to contribute to the continuous development of Binh Duong province, Becamex IDC has formed and developed WTC Binh Duong New City has become a bridge with important partners such as the Korean Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and COEX, which have laid the first foundations in promoting events that encourage the creative service industry in Binh Duong.

The event series will take place over 4 days from September 14-17, 2023 at Hall B, WTC. It is expected to attract 120 booths with 60 participating companies from South Korea, Vietnam and other countries. The event programs include:

Viet Nam – Korea Character & Licensing Fair 2023, organized by the Korean Creative Content Agency (KOCCA Vietnam) from September 14-16, 2023.
The Learn & Play Festival 2023 (LAPF 2023), held for the first time in Binh Duong, Vietnam, as part of this event series.

Mrs. Mai Hoang Hai Vi – LAPF project leader, representative of WTC Binh Duong informed about the “Learn and Play Festival 2023” taking place within the framework of the event “Vietnam International Culture & Character Week 2023”

Moreover, the program will also include a Character Design Contest, providing a platform for local talents to showcase their character designs. Other activities during the event include biz-matching sessions, a K-Pop contest, Coding Contest, character parade, cosplay performances, and a cartoon showing time for attendees to enjoy.

This series of events marks the next foundation of the partnership between partners KOCCA Vietnam, COEX and WTC Binh Duong New City to create a new platform in the creative service industry. This is a good opportunity for domestic and foreign businesses to approach international businesses to promote trade. The local community also has opportunities to learn and develop new fields and professions.

The MOU signing ceremony between WTC BDNC and Magiskator was organized by Ms. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh – Director of WTC Binh Duong and Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Hong – Director of Magiskator to promote the diversified, comprehensive and effective development of the Character Licensing in Vietnam.
