Over the last 25 years, the Industrial – Urban – Service model has become a means of assisting Binh Duong in attracting resources and thus investing, accumulating a high-quality technical and social infrastructure that serves as a solid foundation for the transformation of the development model to meet the new requirements of the digital economy and the industrial revolution 4.0. In particular, the industrial sector has increased 140 times, bringing the average per capita income of Binh Duong to nearly 7,000 USD per person per year, boosting Binh Duong to be one of the first localities in the country to become a high-income region.
To highlight these outstanding achievements of Binh Duong Province, on March 25, 2023, the event “Binh Duong: Ignites – Connects – Anew Develops” was organized by the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province and Becamex Corporation at the Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC).

These efforts have helped attract resources both within and outside the country and have accumulated deep and broad development infrastructure for the region.
Furthermore, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province, also emphasized the role of the nine existing universities in the new development model, particularly the roles of the Eastern International University, Viet Duc University, and Thu Dau Mot University, with their systems of research rooms, Fablabs, Techlabs, Business Incubators, serving as a platform for researching and developing new production tools.
