On the afternoon of May 23, 2023, the Conference on Promoting Vietnam – India Trade & Investment 2023 took place at the Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC). This Conference was attended by representatives from departments in Binh Duong province, and Indian businesses in the Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong area.

This conference also aimed to provide Binh Duong and Indian businesses with the opportunities to learn about trade promotion policies, exchange, and cooperate in many fields according to their potential and strengths to promote trade activities; Create a restructuring of export goods in the direction of promoting the export of high-value-added products, gradually reducing the proportion of raw exports. From there, encouraging the development of production of export goods with competitive advantages, having the ability to penetrate internationally and participate in the global value chain, creating a stable market share in the world market. Ensuring stable production and business activities, developing the domestic market and growing exports in a sustainable approach; accelerating the restructuring of goods in the direction of increasing exports of high value-added products.

The diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and India (1972-2023) has developed for 51 years and increasingly strengthened, consolidated, and developed more and more deeply in terms of economic relations and cultural exchange.
