HIGHLIGHTING MEMORABLE MOMENTS OF THE EVENT “MẸ ĐỠ ĐẦU” WITH THE THEME OF “LOVE AND SHARE!”

On the evening of June 26th, at Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) took place a live broadcast called “Mẹ Đỡ Đầu” under the theme of “Love and Share!”. The Vietnam Women’s Union launched the event in October 2021. Binh Duong Provincial Women’s Union was also active with campaign members’ contribution, mobilization, and socialization to organize an event.

MEANING OF THE EVENT:

– Honoring and spreading the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families after the recovery of Covid-19; Honoring and recognizing individual or group contributions, successes, and accomplishments.

– Inspiring, extending, and connecting the community to actively respond to the “Mẹ Đỡ Đầu”, which was implemented by Vietnam Women’s Union to bring up, and protect orphan children after the pandemic.

– Creating an opportunity for orphan children to be comprehensively developed.

Mr. Vo Van Minh – Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee gave a speech at the event”Godmother” held at Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC).

2 Ede orphans due to COVID-19 and their godmother, Nay Ho Kinh – Head of the Ede Women’s Union and godmother Luong Thi Van Thanh from Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Lam Quynh Hoa – Vice President of the Women’s Union from District 10, Ho Chi Minh city, who directly supported 5 children.

Awarding the medals to individuals, and organizations accompanying the Binh Duong Women’s Union in the implementation of the event.
