In recent years, Binh Duong province and Daejeon City have become strategic partners. The cooperation and connection between the two localities have also been continuously strengthened. With all the good cooperative and friendly relationships between the two localities until now, Binh Duong and Daejeon will continue to support each other in social-economic development.

 

 

Based on that relationship, on February 15th, 2023, the Binh Duong provincial leaders attended a meeting with the Delegations of Daejeon City (Korea) led by Mr. Lee Sang Rae – Chairman of the Deajeon City Council at Binh Duong Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC).

 

 

At the meeting, leaders of Binh Duong province and Daejeon city openly discussed the strong cooperation relationship in culture, investment, and development. The Provincial People’s Council and Daejeon City Council signed a memorandum of understanding on strengthening friendship cooperation. The two sides will strive to build a strategic partnership between local governments, the private sector, and citizen groups based on mutual respect and trust. The two sides regularly share information and experiences in the operation of elected bodies; actively promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of culture, education, and tourism, create opportunities in economic and trade development, and science and technology fields for the mutual benefit of the two localities.
