The Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City proposed a plan to connect 3 major cities of the Southern critical economic region, including Ho Chi Minh City – Binh Duong – Dong Nai, researching the possibility of extending metro line No. 1 Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien, which would connect the provinces of Binh Duong and Dong Nai. The extension of this railway is determined to be necessary to increase regional connectivity, increase tourism demand, and accelerate the socio-economic development of urban areas in the future.

In Binh Duong, WTC Gateway is proud to be the central Metro station of Binh Duong New City, a complex of 168,000 m2 including a shopping center and an art – culture – sport center.
