World Trade Center Binh Duong New City hosts the World Trade Centers Association Global Business Forum 2027 in Ho Chi Minh City, a platform for trade connectivity and investment, fostering the development of science and technology-driven urban ecosystems.

On the afternoon of April 25, at the Global Business Forum 2026 in Philadelphia, United States, the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) officially announced that the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC Binh Duong New City), an affiliated entity of Becamex Corporation, will host the Global Business Forum 2027 (GBF 2027).

The forum is expected to take place in April 2027 in Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, marking a significant milestone for WTC Binh Duong New City as it transforms into a leading destination for trade and investment in the Ho Chi Minh City region.

Speaking at the forum, the representative of Becamex Group stated: “The Global Business Forum 2027 at WTC Binh Duong New City in Ho Chi Minh City will not only be a meeting point, but also a launchpad for concrete cooperation opportunities, where Vietnamese enterprises, particularly the dynamic business community in Ho Chi Minh City, can directly connect with global partners, expand markets, and integrate more deeply into international value chains.”

World Trade Centers Association Asia Pacific Regional Forum was successfully hosted at WTC Binh Duong New City in 2023.

In recent years, WTC Binh Duong New City has hosted numerous international conferences and forums, and has been recognized by prestigious organizations such as the World Trade Centers Association with the Premier Accredited Member, the ASEAN MICE Award for the 2026–2028 period, and as a member of the UFI.

Looking ahead, WTC Binh Duong New City aims to connect Vietnamese enterprises, particularly SMEs and technology companies with global supply chains and partners, attract strategic and sustainable investment flows from the global WTCA ecosystem, promote technology transfer, support on site export programs, and develop industrial MICE and smart logistics ecosystems integrated with global supply chains.

Above all, the WTC model developed by Becamex Group is envisioned to become an integrated complex and a destination for talent, a livable hub that fosters the advancement of Vietnam’s science and technology foundation.

These achievements affirm its capability to organize events in accordance with international standards and its commitment to enhancing service quality, providing a solid foundation for hosting the Global Business Forum 2027. Hosting the Global Business Forum 2027 is expected to position Binh Duong Ward as a destination for the global WTC community, along with international businesses, investors, and experts, while aligning with the development vision of the Northern Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology Urban Area as a strategic platform for trade connection and promotion in the new phase.

According to the decision of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Northern Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology Urban Area will be developed in Binh Duong Ward and its adjacent areas, with the orientation of becoming a new growth pole of the city following the administrative merger. This area will feature a science and technology complex of approximately 20 hectares, centered around the former Binh Duong Provincial Administrative Center, which will be transformed into a science and technology building, serving as a hub for research, innovation, and the development of technology enterprises.

Building upon that foundation, within the framework of GBF 2027, the North Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology City will become a space for in-depth networking activities, where technology corporations, international experts, and policymakers can exchange ideas, promote cooperation, and develop concrete initiatives in areas such as investment environment and policies, smart urban development linked to science, technology, and innovation, as well as ESG standards towards sustainable development.

The event is expected to create a strong impetus for the local economic ecosystem, fostering connections between domestic enterprises and international partners, while contributing to enhancing Vietnam’s position on the global trade map.
