ANNOUNCEMENT CEREMONY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CITY – NORTH HO CHI MINH CITY

Ho Chi Minh City will officially host the Announcement Ceremony For The Development of Science & Technology City – North Ho Chi Minh City. Marking an important milestone in the City’s strategy to promote urban development driven by science, technology, and innovation, toward sustainable growth and enhanced competitiveness in the new development phase.

The program is organized under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies, and Becamex Investment and Industrial Development Group (Becamex Group).

DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CITY – NORTH HO CHI MINH CITY

The Science & Technology City – North Ho Chi Minh City is planned to develop under an integrated “5-in-1” model, synchronously combining the functions of Education – Research – Innovation – Production – Green Living. This model aims to establish a comprehensive science and technology ecosystem, fostering close linkages between research, application, production, and technology commercialization.

The city is planned in close connection with key infrastructure such as the metro system, Long Thanh International Airport, and Eco-Industrial Parks (EIPs), forming a strong foundation for sustainable development, attracting high-quality investment, and enabling deeper participation in global value chains.
