Hoi Khanh Pagoda
Hoi Khanh Pagoda
Hoi Khanh Pagoda is one of the oldest and most prominent pagodas in the Binh Duong area, bearing the strong imprint of Southern Vietnamese Buddhist culture and history. Built in 1741 and having undergone numerous renovations, the pagoda is not only a sacred pilgrimage site but also an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and exploring traditional architectural art.
The highlight of Hoi Khanh Pagoda is the longest reclining Buddha statue in Asia, measuring over 52 meters in length, majestically placed amidst lush greenery, leaving visitors in awe. Inside the main hall, ancient horizontal plaques, couplets, Buddha statues, and many rare artifacts are preserved, reflecting the pagoda’s centuries-old cultural heritage.
