LOTTE MART is a company of the LOTTE Group of South Korea, a large supermarket chain selling a wide variety of groceries, clothing, toys, electronics, and other goods. LOTTE MART opened its first branch in Guui-dong, Gang Byeon, Seoul, South Korea on April 1, 1998. In 2008, LOTTE MART expanded into overseas markets in Indonesia (November) and Vietnam (December). As of January 2025, LOTTE MART had a total of 174 supermarkets globally: 111 in South Korea, 48 in Indonesia, and 15 in Vietnam.
The first LOTTE MART supermarket in Vietnam was LOTTE MART Nam Saigon, located in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, which is also the location of LOTTE MART Vietnam’s headquarters.
